Mental Fitness Fun is a group activity designed to flex your thinking muscles using activities that are fun, varied and designed to stimulate your brain.
Mindy Newhouse is a Speech Language Pathologist and founder of Communication Matters, a private practice in the Conejo Valley.

Let‘s meet at a hometown favorite spot for great food, friends and comradery. Their big patio is a nice place to sit and socialize while you nosh and talk. Invite a friend or neighbor to introduce them to what CVV does for its members.

This FUN activity involves exercises designed to improve your balance, strength and endurance. Maintain your functional independence right from your living room! All levels welcome!
Recommended props: sturdy chair, dumbbells or soup cans, water.
Jen is a certified group fitness and yoga instructor and certified occupational therapy assistant. She has worked and volunteered in a variety of settings including retirement communities, fitness studios, and skilled nursing centers.

If you like to cook or want to learn some simple cooking techniques, join Rosa Lee as she prepares a 3-course lunch in her home and teaches you how to do it yourself... recipes will be included!

CVV volunteer, Ralph Gould, will lead a panel discussion to answer questions about financial issues of interest to CVV members such as, "internet (cyber) security", IRA‘s, Traditional vs. Roth and Roth Conversions".
